About Daily Dungeon

A small daily puzzle with a big treasure chest at the end.

Every day there is one new dungeon room, and everyone in the world gets the same one. Your goal is simple: reach the treasure chest. Getting there is the puzzle. Push stone blocks, fill pits, hold pressure plates down to open gates, slide across ice, flip amber and teal crystal pegs, and collect keys for locked doors.

How scoring works

Every room has a par: the fewest moves that can possibly solve it, worked out by a computer solver that checks every reachable position. Match par for a ๐Ÿ‘‘ Perfect, finish within three moves of it for a โญ Great, or just open the chest for a โœ… Solved. Undo and restart are free and unlimited; only your final move count matters, with time as the tie-breaker. Results can be shared as a short spoiler-free summary, like this:

๐Ÿ—๏ธ Daily Dungeon #14 (Thu โ„๏ธ)
๐Ÿ‘‘ 21 moves (par 21) ยท โฑ๏ธ 2:14
โ†ฉ๏ธ 6 undos

How the rooms are made

Rooms are generated by a puzzle designer program and then verified by a solver: every published room is proven solvable, its par is exact, and it has to use the day's mechanics in its best solution. Some days are hand-made. The art, sounds, rules and puzzles are all original.
